MPH
MPH is a wooden object which has four wheels. It can be used as a paper weight and toy for children.
Wooden car is one of an icon of a toy. Most of them are roundish and are abstract. However, a boy likes cool object. And they never leave it even if they become a man.
MPH is my analyzing project about “cool-ness”. I wanted to visualize the definition of the word “cool”. It exists in a certain point between complexity and simplicity. Complexity gives me an impression of chaos, and the excessive simplify (abstraction) reduce the object’s attraction. I focused on the “cool-ness” of the simplicity.
MPH is abstract yet cool.
